Sylvia has been attending Mission Hills since 1996, and has been the bookkeeper since 2005. She has been married to husband Rick for 26 years, with whom she has one adult child, Matt. She received her Masters of Arts in Theology & Christian Leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Sylvia loves serving God and serving others. She currently participates in the Leadership of the Women's Ministry and is an Elder of the Church.
