Gary has been married to his wife Joanne since 1960. They have two children, Don and Cynthia and two grandchildren, Alexandria and Isabella.
Gary graduated from California State University with a teaching degree in Technical Education. Gary taught woodworking and construction technology for 20 years at Mission Viejo High School, from where he was called to join Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in 1980. During his time with YWAM, Gary led basic construction techology schools in Hawaii, Tonga, Samoa, Indonesia, Chile, Columbia, Kenya and Switzerland.
Throughout his life, Gary has built 6 churches in Japan, homes in Tonga, Hawaii and Columbia, schools in Tonga, and medical clinics in Indonesia and many remodel projects in other parts of the world.
In 2002, Gary was called out of the missions field to serve at Mission Hills Community Church and Mission Hills Christian School as the Director of Facilities.
In his spare time, Gary enjoys to watercolor. |
