"Monday Nights" Young Adults Ministry Our dinner at BJ's was a huge success and tons of fun. Hopefully we'll have a chance to see all those new faces again. Tonight we are back in the Choir Room at 7:30pm. Join us for a time of Worship & Teaching from our very own David Blake.
Just so you can plan ahead, here's our schedule for the month of July. * Monday, July 7th, we will be in the Choir Room at 7;30pm * Monday, July 21st, we will be meeting at Aliso Creek Beach at 7:30pm. More details to follow in regards to both of those meetings.

 Hi Men of Mission Hills!
Just a quick reminder about the upcoming Frontline Men's Breakfast that will be at Tijeras Creek Golf Club on July 26th. Signups will start the second Sunday in July. I would also want to encourage those of you interested in a summer bible study to join me on Wednesday night at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary as we go through the book of Acts.

Weekly DevotionMatthew 26:41 "Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."
Jesus had brought His disciples to the Garden of Gethsemane. He had told them that He was deeply grieved, and asked them to stay with Him and keep watch. He had come to pray. He began to be in agony, sweating drops of blood. Yet, when He came back to them, He found them asleep. Three times He came to them and found that they were weary and could not stay awake.
Jesus tells them to stay awake, and pray continually. He knows that they are human and will be easily tempted.
When my girls were little, I had a friend who was an example of continually praying.
While she was changing diapers, or shopping at the market, or driving somewhere, she would offer up quick prayers or praise to the Lord. She said that praying was really just talking to God. So she silently included Him in everything she did.
How I wish I would pray continually like that.
